Beauty Review: Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer

I have an oily skin. I oil up so easily especially when I'm out and about during the day. It's inevitable especially with the tropical weather here in the Philippines. It annoys me to see how I look like a greasy pan whenever I pass by a mirror or reflection. No joke. And what's even worse is that I oil up even more with makeup on.

I have always wanted the dewy look but the trend doesn't suit my skin type that well. I am always on the hunt for cushions that will give me that dewy look while still looking fresh. I have tried the Chica Y Chico Matt Cushion and April Skin Magic Snow Cushion which are popular for both coverage and matte finish.  I tried both but I didn't look dewy at all, in contrary, I look so oily.

So I decided maybe it's time to invest and use makeup primer. I looked up to the internet and searched for good primers that are suited for combination-oily skin and.........

I actually got this Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer from Althea Philippines for quite a few months already (which is why this looks so dirty already) and I've been loving it so far. According to the product description, this primer :

  • Smoothens skin texture and conceals pores. This both cleanses and smooths out uneven pores and bumps, creating a clear skin texture prior to makeup application.

  • Has long-lasting softness. Natural mint and minerals manage the oil and moisture balance of the skin, allowing skin to remain soft and smooth for long periods.

  • Allows skin to remain supple and clear by tightening wide pores with Jeju green persimmon extracts, while the Jeju green complex creates healthier skin.

Packaging and Smell

The product comes in a 25ml tube. I love the smell. I can't describe the scent but it definitely smells very cool and refreshing.

Texture

It actually looks weird like in the photo above but it becomes transparent when applied. It has a creamy texture that dissolves into super light buttery thick consistency.  Which makes it ideal when covering pores.

Application

You guys know I recently had quite a bad skin problem. Although it has gotten a lot better now, it caused my skin with bumps and open pores. Which was the reason why I chose to try this product. I was hoping this will blur those pores and bumps out. Luckily, I have observed that this product has definitely helped me with this concern. It feels so soft, smooth and easy to apply. I squeeze a pea sized of the product and apply to the areas of concern (pores, bumps and t-zone) right after my skin care and before applying makeup. Like what I said, I love the scent. It makes my skin smooth, prepped and ready for makeup.

As with its oil control, I think it doesn't totally control but at least it helps a lot. I noticed my T-zone doesn't oil that much compared to when I don't use the product. It doesn't totally give me that matt-oil proof look but I'm kind of satisfied and happy with the mild dewy look it gives.

It also helps with making my makeup last longer than the usual. I can definitely attest to that. Another thing I love about this product is the fact that it has natural and very skin caring ingredients.

Price

I bought this last September 2016 for P450.00. I have been using the product and I didn't run out of it until now. I can totally say the price is so worth it. My 450 pesos went so far with the usage. So sulit! :)

Will I repurchase?

I will give this product an 8/10. Yes, I will definitely repurchase but I'm not sure when. This is definitely a good product but I think there are a lot of other primers in the market that I still have to try. I want to try other products and see if there are better ones. I don't  know about you, but I'm just not the type of person to stick with a product unless I get to try a few others.
