Trip To CDO! Sagpulon Falls

My friends and I decided to take a day trip to different places in CDO. Cagayan de Oro is a two-hour drive from where I live. Perhaps you'd think it's not the most exciting trip because I've actually been to CDO a lot of times already but I've never been to the places we decided to visit. So I was so excited and eager to explore more of what the city has to offer.
We had three places in our itinerary. I took quite a lot of photos so I decided to make separate blog posts for each stop because I don't want to bombard you with a ton of photos. Anyway, our first stop was Sagpulon Falls.

Sagpulon Falls is part of Jasaan Misamis Oriental which is around 20 minutes away from CDO. It's not like it was my first time to see a waterfall because in my city, Iligan has a lot of waterfalls to offer. But I've never been to this one so I was eager to see the place.
Like every waterfall, that cool breeze and loud sound of water falling from the cliff feels very satisfying. I really wanted to take a dip in the water but there were a lot of crowd and the water was not as clear as I thought it would be. Perhaps because it was raining the night before. Also, it was Sunday when we visited hence the flock of people. My friend who had been here before told me that they had the whole place all for themselves when they visited on a weekday. So if you're planning to go visit Sagpulon Falls, you might want to drop by on a weekday to avoid the crowd.
We left Iligan around 8:30 am and arrived at Sagpulon Falls by around 11 am. It was just in time for lunch. And because it was very crowded, we didn't have a proper place to eat. There were not enough cottage to accommodate everyone, but we managed. And instead of swimming, we decided to just relax, chitchat, eat and enjoy the scenery. Of course, we didn't forget to take a bunch of photos! for memories :)
