So girls, spring is already halfway done, and if you still have not tapped into the latest trends for
spring/summer 2016, now would be the right time. The designer have prepared so many gorgeous stuff for you that it would be a shame not to check them out. On the runways, we had a chance to see a twist on some classic pieces and stiles like white shirt or stripes and innovative designs, such as lingerie-inspired clothing. Since it is almost impossible to try them all out and to love them all, let us see the hottest trends to wear this season.
The Lace-Craze
This year the designers are reminding us that spring is the time of romance and ease. For that purpose, they have used her royal highness – lace. Just take a look at the captivating collections of Simone Rocha and Preen, and you will see how this fabric is enhancing the natural elegance of female body, converting your silhouette into a dreamy figure. Although it looks the best on dresses
and formal gowns, this season we will be wearing lace on tops, short shorts and other pieces and for every occasion.
White Shirt Twist
It is the eternal classic – white shirt and black trousers and pencil skirt, but it is not written in stone that this piece should be worn only in these two ways. The evergreen of both men and women clothing has been given a new “coat”, and we have seen Amanda Wakeley’s elegant take on it with lightweight fabric longer on the back side, Anthony Vaccarello’s oddly shaped shirt with a flash of skin, and various other changes by Vera Wang, Issa, Fendi, etc.

We are all looking forward to heading to beach this year, but now we are leaving behind last year’s trend of fringes and high-waist (although they will both be present this season too), and moving forward to this year’s hottest swimwear trend – cutouts. This fashionable piece is perfect for showing some skin in the chosen places, while hiding what we do not want to reveal. Embrace this “less is more” look and let the imagination to do its thing.
Bold Stripes
We knows, stripes seem rather boring to you, but what if we tell you that this year designers reinvented stripes and made them bolder than ever? The innovations vary from one designer to another, since everyone from Dolce and Gabbana to Prada had their saying about this topic. From super stripes to scattered and chopped lines, you can wear dresses, shirts and skirt with this pattern and rock one of spring’s best trends.
Top Handle Is the Top
The season must-have is the top handle bag. You can wear it at your elbow or in your hand, and it will, either way, present the ladylike win. You can go for Tods’ inventive patterns, Miu Miu’s classic business bag, Gucci’s play with color and style or Fendi’s floral motifs, or with any other style, the handle is all that is important. It is important to mention that this is a great season for all sorts of leather goods, and you can equip yourself with several leather bags, clutches, bracelets, etc.
