Singaporean Cuisine

For about a couple of semesters, at last we had our cooking laboratory again under our Asian Cuisine subject. Although my classmates and I find our teacher quite a hassle, I still and will enjoy every laboratory we will have :)

We will be touring all around Asia. Tasting every bits of Asian Cuisine inside our laboratory. Our first stop? Singapore :) known for its famous symbol Merlion and for its Sentosa Island. Their cuisine is influenced mainly of their neighboring countries and countries who invaded their country years back. Singaporean cuisine is a combination of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian and Western cuisine.

In our class, we have five groups and we decided to draw on whatever course we will be assign on. We got entree and dessert. The other groups had main dish, soup, salad and beverage. Our entree was Mee Goreng, a famous fried noodles in Singapore and the dessert was Molten Lava Cake, a western cuisine which is one of Singapore's main invaders way back.

Here's some of the dishes :)

We're no pro, we're just some humble students who wants to develop our cooking skill. Chos! :) Critics are welcome, I would be glad to hear them.

We'll have another laboratory tomorrow :) gotta go! Have a good night! :)
