Little Black Dress

They say...

"One can never go wrong with a little black dress"

and I couldn't agree more!

You guys know I love black clothing pieces, and dresses are no exception. I recently found how comfortable dresses are, which I mentioned in one of my previous post (Sunday Florals). Since then, I have been on the hunt for the perfect little black dress. Perfect timing since the mom of my boyfriend's black and white birthday party was approaching. So I decided to look online.

I had to go shop in our local department stores and gladly, I found a little black dress that I like for only 350 pesos! What a steal! :)

This wasn't my first option. I actually fitted a bunch and I didn't think they fit the occasion I'm attending. I found this dress last minute and was super happy to find out how affordable it was. I love the length, not too short nor long. Love the texture as well. I decided not to put too many accessories and only wore my necklace and a pair of earrings. I kept my look minimal. Also, I finally wore again this shoes which I got from Milanoo a few years ago. Love how it still looks stylish even with the ever changing trend. It perfectly matched my black dress and brown sling bag :)

I didn't do much on my hair. I just let it lose. My naturally wavy hair comes really handy with these types of occasion. No need for hours of curling! :) Saved me so much time. For my makeup, I also didn't put much. Although I added more than how I usually do it since it's a party. I decided to go for a slight smokey eye look. I kept the rest minimal. Glad to finally make use of my colour pop liquid lipsticks! I mixed the two shades and achieved a great shade that I thought was perfect to finish off my makeup look.

Overall, it was a successful event. Great performances, good food, and heartfelt birthday celebration. Here are a few pictures from the party.
