Travel blogs are on the roll guys! Now that I have all the time to blog and do my thing, I can finally write and post this very memorable event. Our team from OneX8 Iligan flew to Manila to attend the Usana All-Stars 2017. If you guys have been reading my blog, we attend Usana Convention every quarter at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Among all the Usana Conventions that my Boyfriend and I have been to, this one was probably the most memorable so far.

We've always been sitting in the audience chairs in the past conventions clapping and chanting the OneX8 song to support the rank advancers. Now, we got the chance to sit at the VIP area and be clapped by over 10,000 Usana associates present at the arena as we go on stage and be recognized as one of the newest Bronze Directors of the company.

I'm not gonna take the credit since I was idle and I did nothing to contribute to this rank advancement. All I gave was my support :D lol but nevertheless, I'm trying to make up for it. It was a great experience that made me realize that it was indeed possible to go up to that stage. Something that I thought I could never experience before. The whole experience from the dress shopping, getting ready, up to sitting at the VIP seat was very memorable. Something that my boyfriend and I want to keep experiencing every convention. Which means we have to rank advance every single convention!

Anyway, enough of the talking. Here's a travel video diary and some photos from the whole trip :)

We had the chance to stroll around Manila for two days before the series of activities began. We tried to stay on the budget but we failed. hahaha! there are just so many tempting foods to eat! lol We also went to a famous Korean Grocery shop and we tried so many Korean snacks. Goodbye diet!

The series of activities began on Day 3 at the PICC Forum 1 for OneX8 event. So many testimonies and inspiring stories were told. Attending this event was always fun and motivating with all the big speakers and inspiring people giving their tips and advice on how to succeed in the business and in life overall.

The next day (Day 4) was the most anticipated event of this trip, the Usana All-Stars Convention 2017. The theme for our team was black & gold. I bought my whole outfit the day before the event. I decided to get a dress that I could wear repeatedly. Hence, I chose this simple black dress which looks formal for the event yet casual to wear for ordinary days at the same time. It's quite versatile I must say. I even wore it to Church and it looks just as perfect as it is. I can still wear this to more parties to come! That's the beauty of basic pieces like this black dress. Yes to versatility!

To add a touch of Gold, I chose a not so high-heeled pair of shoes which has elegant accents of gold. Btw, I did my own makeup and that was it. That was my look and we were good to go.

The stage was lit! It was designed extraordinary to celebrate Usana's 25th year anniversary, making this event even more special. I really adore the tiered cake design of the stage. Very unique and perfect for the celebration.

With this huge celebration comes huge prizes too! Too bad  I did not get any of the Apple watches or Ipad.  Nevertheless, all of us present in the event were given these exclusive discounts and coupons! All 10,00 of us! Imagine!?

It was the best convention I have attended so far. I cannot wait to sit in the VIP seats again next time! Wohoooo! Thanks for dropping by my blog! :)

Cebu always has a special place in my heart. I've spent a year of many firsts in Cebu. First work, first pay, first time being totally independent, and so much more. Even though I left Cebu for 3 years now, I have always wanted to go back and visit its beautiful spots.

My family and I were invited to a relative's wedding in Cebu. We decided to go and take a land trip which took us about 12 hours to arrive. By the way, if you decide to take a land trip too, I suggest you check the schedule of the Dapitan and Dumaguete port to avoid delay. We weren't very sure of the schedule so we end up waiting at the port for an hour or two at Dapitan and Dumaguete. Nevertheless, the whole trip was amazing. The long hours of drive turned into hours of sightseeing among all the places we drove through. Visiting Dapitan and Dumaguete was also a first for me, thanks to this trip.

We stayed at a beach house, the same venue for the wedding the next day. It was a great experience bonding with my relatives from different places just to gather and attend the wedding. I got to meet some cousins that I knew for the first time. Meeting my aunties and uncles too was a heartwarming experience.

We woke up very early in the morning the next day to witness the sunrise. You guys know that waking up early is NOT my forte. I usually wake up around 10 in the morning. So waking up at sunrise is a totally a rare occurrence. I was still very sleepy I admit, but it was all worth it. The view was amazing. It was like a piece of painting. I couldn't take a decent photo of it but trust me, it is so breathtaking.

I really love the setup for the reception. It was my first time attending an outdoor wedding reception. It was simple, dainty, and intimate. The wedding took place in a very nice church. Cebu never fails to amaze me when it comes to their Church interiors. They definitely do not disappoint.

Right after the wedding, we immediately took a trip to Simala Church. I have been there once before and it has definitely improved A LOT. Aside from the fact that they have Instagram-worthy locations, they also have bigger areas for prayer and worship.

I really hoped we stayed longer. It was such a short but fun trip. Meeting my family and relatives is something I do not get to experience very often since we live far away from each other. We were only able to tour on some locations. We actually planned to swim with the whalesharks in Oslob but we got short of time. I'll definitely be back and try it next time! :)

That's it for my whole Cebu Trip. How I wish I was able to take notes of how we took a land trip from Iligan to Cebu. Let me know guys if you want to know how to take the route :) I'll try my best to gather information and blog about it. Thank you for dropping by my blog. See you on my next post!

Such a long overdue post. The gang went to Bukidnon last month. It was so sudden, we only decided the night before to push through the trip. We went for a quick visit at one of their local farms to try their salad and visit the place. I have been to Bukidnon a couple of times (check here & here) already but this recent trip was a very unique experience for me. Something that I haven't done before.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a vegetable salad made of pure organic lettuce, carrots, dressing, and whatnot. They have their own farm producing and growing these plants. It was really nice to see how organic farming looks and how organic vegetable tastes. The tea was my favorite part by the way. It isn't the usual tea in a bag from known companies. We served our own tea with organic stevia, mint, and thyme leaves! All these amazing food for only P50 (entrance fee + salad & tea). It's a pretty good price.

I was quite surprised to see they have some pretty decent facilities. They have a function room for parties, a karaoke machine, a place for a bonfire, a tiny playground, some outdoor lounge, etc. I really like the vibe of the place. So zen and calming. It's definitely nice to take a trip away from the city.

I didn't take many photos as I was trying to record some footage so I can make a short video and upload it to my Youtube channel. I'm getting into video editing lately and I realized how awesome it will be to reminisce a few years from now what I have been doing in the past through videos. I mean, pictures are totally fine but videos are much more real to me. Do I make any sense? lol

Thanks for dropping by! :) See you guys on my next post!
