I cannot leave the house without a single beauty product on. Not that I'm very sensitive to my appearance but I think I just got used to it. When I was working on a hotel, it's a must to groom and put make up on and that's when I learned a lot about make up and got hooked. I love everything about makeup! You can never go wrong with makeup using the right tools and right techniques.The fact that it can transform you into someone else and that it can enhance your features, totally amazing right?!  

But make up expires, and make up tools like brushes also needs maintenance. The foundation, powder and all the make up products you use will build up within the brushes where bacteria can accumulate. We don't want that right? because it can cause pimples, and skin irritation! To avoid that, we need to weekly clean the brushes. I admit, I am such a sucker when it comes to makeup brush cleaning. I am just very lazy and always procrastinate as I don't have the right cleanser on hand.

I used to use shampoo in cleaning my makeup brushes but the brushes got dry and stiff. Totally a bad idea! Good thing I found Japonesque Make up Brush Cleanser when I was strolling in Ayala. I went there just to accompany a friend and buying this baby was totally unplanned.

Mascara will always be one of my staples. Aside from concealer, I adore the use of mascara as it immediately gives me a more awake look. It's definitely an on-the-go item that I can wear alone when I don't have enough time to pamper myself. Don't you agree?

I usually don't stick to one brand as I tend to switch and test which brand really works best for me on a certain make up item. In short, I try a lot of items before settling to one that I'm sure would work best. Hence, my beauty reviews posted here on the blog. And speaking of reviews, today I'm reviewing Revlon's Grow Luscious Plumping Waterproof Mascara.

Packaging

It's sleek and attractive. Love the gradient effect of the silver to green. Just stunning.

Smell

Just like other mascaras sold in the market, it has that weird smell I can't even explain.

Most people say that the wand really matters. I'm not sure but I think yes, it does matter. But aside from it, the formula too matters.

Hello guys! so excited to share and blog about this! I've been really eyeing metallic tattoos online! I have so many lovely shots on my Pinterest and it just makes me more drool over. Gladly, I got the chance to review one from BornPretty. And finally! I got my hands on them! :)

I received it a few weeks ago together with a lovely set of false lashes (read my review here). I am just so happy for the items I chose! quality wise, so perfect! So I got this set of metallic lashes and most designs are diamonds with set of chains. I was thinking of forming a necklace but I decided to go for a boho bracelet. 

The application was a no brainer. For those who don't have any idea how to apply this. Here's a little tutorial I made for you guys :)

Not that I'm excited for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey. I just literally don't have any other title in mind. lol  Anyway, I am so glad to finally have this lovely grey jacket in hand! Our local post office always have the most delayed service ever! a single parcel takes more then a month to reach here. And what's worst is that it takes a lot more delayed unless you personally update the parcel every week at the post office. I always pick my package because it might take 2 months or so if I'll just wait for the post man to deliver it straight right in front of our door step. So yeah, sorry for my rant.

Anyway, I always try to not mind their whole delivery process because I always end up happy once I open all my packages. And I'm so glad to finally get my Snapmade customized grey jacket! so lovely!

All thanks to Snapmade! the whole design process was super easy and very accurate too! I super love how my design turned out. It's exactly how I imagined it and how it looked on the screen. I love how the grey and pink complemented each other. Aside from that, I'm also very happy that the #21 was just on the right size. Not too big nor too small.  And quality wise, superb! super comfy and smooth on the skin

I am a make-up savvy but one thing I haven't tried using by myself yet are false lashes.Though I fancy falsies, I am usually more on casual dressing and I rarely go to events that's why I don't own one. But not until this package came. All thanks to the amazing people behind Bornpretty. I loved all the items inside! (check my previous What's in the mail?)

One item I got are these lovely pairs of Born Pretty Crisscross False Lashes.These are my first pairs of falsies and I am really glad for having these! As I've said, I rarely go to events so I really didn't thought of buying. But still, I wanted to own one in case of emergency like sudden invitations and such. So I immediately grabbed the opportunity when asked to select the products to review. I saw a lot of good falsies but the one who captured my attention was this product. 

Packaging:

So kawaii! The packaging is very cute and attractive. The falsies can be directly seen without having to open the packaging. Also, it doesn't have the usual synthetic/plastic smell of newly opened items. thumbs up!

Design:

I love the crisscross pattern for it creates volume and a more natural effect on the eyes. Also, the length is superb! It gives the eyes just the right pop and it enhances the eye makeup more.  

I've always been into DIYs. I super love recreating pieces into something useful and vibrant.  It makes me juice out my inner creative self during the doing process. I've been following several amazing Youtube Gurus that does a lot of DIY projects and they influence me to do my own DIYs too. And because I love tumblr and pinterest so much that I always scroll and scroll almost every hour, I found a lot of super good DIYs there too and it just inspires me more to be creative and do  more DIYs.

I can't remember the last time I did a DIY project. Good thing I have a lot of vacant time right now and so I did one! You won't be stressing your self out because it's super easy, super cheap and super fun! 

Wow! It's been a year full of surprises and blessings. Thank you God for a great 2014 and for giving me another great year(for sure) to spend with a bunch of amazing people that I love. I claim that this is my year! that I will be successful with whatever my goals are and that I can be a blessing to everybody. 

I can't imagine spending the Holidays without our 20+yr old messy Christmas tree! It's even older than me. We prepared few dishes for the night as a tradition, and that means the 12 kinds of fruits (circle shaped) and all other fengsui related things.
