People sometimes think that jackets are made just to keep
you warm during the cold winter days. While that is true, warmth isn’t the only
quality a good jacket should provide. After all, you’ll be spending significant
part of your day in it, so it has to be comfortable and fashionable. As with
every piece of clothing you are buying, you have to find the one for you, there
is no one-size-fits-all jacket. If someone tries to convince you in the
opposite, just remember Audrey Hepburn’s orange coat in “Breakfast at
Tiffany’s”. It looked like it was made just for her and it spoke about her. Now
that we’ve established that there is more to a winter jacket than keep-us-warm
function, it’s time to find the right jacket for you. Here’s what you should
have in mind.
OK, so today I’m going to reveal how I manage to keep on top of a very real problem for fashion lovers - the state of their wardrobe. There’s no doubt that buying new clothes can develop into something of a habit, and that means there could be wardrobe trouble ahead.
There’s an easy way to find out if you have a problem. If you open your overflowing closet every day and have to hack your way through tons of fabric but still can’t find anything to wear, it’s an issue, OK?
But what can you do about it? Well, it’s pretty easy. Set aside a day in your diary and get ready to be as ruthless as you possibly can. We’re going to whip that wardrobe right into shape - and here’s how to do it.
Take everything out
Take every last piece of clothing out of your wardrobe - including your shoes, underwear, coats and anything else that you keep in there. Put them on the bed, and create some space on the floor. You will also need some strong plastic bags or washing bags, whatever is easiest for you to lay your hands on.
Make some rules
Now comes the hard part. Before you even start looking at your clothes, you will need to come up with some rules. It’s up to you which ones you choose, but I tend to use the following. First of all, do the clothes still fit you? Next, do you even like them, and have you worn them at some point within the last year? And finally, are they seasonal? Once you have your questions down, it’s time to get serious.
The big decisions
It’s time to become entirely emotionless because you are going to have to make some tough decisions. We’ll start with the easy ones, though. Any clothes that you don’t like anymore, or even that you are unsure about need to go. Fill up a bag and label them for the charity store of your choice. Next, take everything that you don’t fit into. Realistically, are you going to do that weight loss program? The chances are if you haven’t squeezed into it by now, you aren’t going to. So, get rid of it. Should you lose the weight, you can always treat yourself to a few new pieces anyway. Say a final goodbye as you pop them into your bags. And, get them to your charity store as quickly as possible before you change your mind.
Seasonal changes
The next step is a little easier on the soul. Split everything up into three different groups. Spring and summer, autumn and winter, and all year round. So, you should end up with some wardrobe staples that never leave, and the two seasonal batches you can rotate. You can either keep them in your attic or basement, or you can rent out some storage. Rates are pretty cheap at the moment - have a look at Dollar Storage for a good idea of what it will cost.
Put everything back
There you have it - a clean, functional, and fully rotatable wardrobe. It will be easier to find your clothes, and with less choice, you’ll find yourself getting dressed a lot quicker. Simple, huh?
Obviously, I don't get to experience fall from where I live. But that doesn't stop me from loving fall. I may not have experienced it myself but the festivity and including climate seems to spread here.
Anyway, here are a couple of things I love about fall.

It may not be as cold as what fall really feels like from the other side of the world but from where I live, it feels cold because of the frequent light to moderate rains. And that leads me to my second favorite thing about the season.
Here's a random post that has already rot on my drafts. Had this for quite sometime and I wonder how I ever forgot to pot this. Anyway, here's the outfit.
I got this grey-ish black flannel on a thrift store from Cebu last year for I think P60 which is already a steal right!? You know how I love black pieces so this one caught my attention right away. I then paired it with a cute galaxy top and leather shorts from Romwe.
Everyone has been talking about the most anticipated gathering of stars, the annual Starmagic Ball. This year was another glamorous ball for the starmagic artists who wore nude, beige, white, & champagne gowns and suites. Everyone rocked the red carpet looking dashing & stunning with their gorgeous couture designed and styled by famous local and international designers.
I know everyone has their own bets and favorites and so I made mine. So in no particular order, here's my best dressed list.
So this is another of my back to school posts. This time, I'll be giving you some tips on how to dress up for school. For some of you, for sure you don't need my tips and perhaps you're thinking "who in the world doesn't know how to dress up for school". I get you, alright. But here's the thing, I experienced the hard time of looking for outfits for school and I know there are still a lot out there who needs help with this matter. So here it goes.
Guys, lets talk about the recently concluded 2015 MTV Video Music Award. It's like the talk of the town because of what happened within the show. I never really saw the entire show but as what I've seen and read, it was one hell of epicness. A lot had happen including Nicki Minaj and Miley shading each other live on air, emotional performance by Justin Bieber, a lot of "almost " nude outfits by Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift duet, Kanye West's presidency and Taylor Swift presenting Kanye West's award. Phew! I told you, so much happened!
But with all the controversy the show gained, it never really mattered to me. Because what I was looking forward were the celebrities' looks! and man! they all looked awesome. In random order, here's my list of best dressed from this this year's MTV VMA :)
